The Beginning of a Legacy
The foundation of Daga Group dates back to 1999, when the family laid the groundwork for a business centered around textiles. With a vision for quality and craftsmanship, the journey began at the very end of the 20th century, driven by passion and an entrepreneurial spirit.
The Formation of Shree Salasar Textiles
In 2000, the business formally took shape as Shree Salasar Textiles, establishing itself as a key player in the suiting and shirting fabric industry. With a growing reputation for reliability and premium fabric sourcing, the company set the stage for expansion into other textile segments.
A New Chapter: Entering the Furnishing Fabric Segment
After years of expertise in suiting and shirting fabrics, Daga Group took a major leap by establishing a new vertical – Maruti Furnishing. This move allowed the company to expand its portfolio and enter the furnishing fabric industry.
The Launch of Daga Group
This year marked a turning point. With a vision to meet the rising demand for sportswear and comfort wear fabrics, Shree Salasar Textiles pivoted to knitted fabrics.
- Hanuman Textiles was launched to continue the legacy in suiting and shirting fabrics.
- Daga Group was formed as the parent company, uniting all three verticals – Shree Salasar Textiles, Maruti Furnishing, and Hanuman Textiles – under one brand.
Expanding the Product Range
Daga Group continued to diversify and innovate, further expanding its product range across categories including ethnic suiting, premium shirting, sportswear fabrics, and home furnishings, strengthening its market presence and customer reach.
The Vikas Logistics Milestone: A Step into the Future
In 2022, Daga Group achieved another milestone with the establishment of a state-of-the-art facility in Vikas Logistics. This expansion significantly enhanced production capacity, streamlined operations, and reinforced the company's commitment to delivering excellence at scale.
The Export Vertical: Taking Indian Textiles Global
In 2025, Daga Group marked another significant milestone with the establishment of its Export Division, catering to the growing global demand for Indian textile products. This step has broadened the company's product portfolio and extended its commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and service to the international market.
